The HOA Board also serves as the Design Review Entitiy.
In accordance with our covenants, all WHOA members should contact the Design Review Entity if you plan any exterior changes to your house including any tree removal (>6 inch trunk diameter), roofing, significant landscaping, and painting, even if you choose to use your existing house color. Homeowners are also responsible for following any and all town and state zoning regulations.
We will do our best to get back to you quickly and make the entire process as smooth as possible. If you have any doubt as to whether or not you should seek the approval of the board, please err on the side of caution and reach out to us.
"Prior to any construction of improvements or landscaping [including tree removal] on any lot, or any use there of, or in any other circumstances in which the Design Review Entity is required hereunder, the owner of such lot shall notify the Design Review Entity in writing…….An Owner shall not commence any Proposed Action until the Design Review Entity’s consent therto is acquired, and shall undertake the Proposed Action only in conformity with the Final Plans as approved by the Design Review Entity."
